Run purely by both undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University of Oxford, our society aims to connect Oxford with the world’s brightest minds.
Oxford Speaks
HI THERE. WE’RE OXFORD SPEAKS
Oxford Speaks is the society which connects students at Oxford University with the world’s best and brightest minds.
Over the past year, we have hosted heads of state, business leaders and leading figures from across the world.
OUR MISSION
To create an intellectual and open space for speakers and students, generally free of charge.
We aim to create an intellectual and open space in which our speakers can engage with our students, and this includes allowing our students to question and challenge them.
Our events are generally completely free of charge for University of Oxford students. We strive to maximise the audience involvement by allowing considerable time for questions, as well as receptions and dinners.
